Stephanie Nobs

Steph is a 3rd year PhD candidate at UNSW under the supervision of Dr Kate Michie and Associate Professor Brendan Burns.  Her research focuses on uncovering the cellular biology of the elusive Asgard Archaea and their evolutionary involvement in the story of eukaryogenesis. Outside of the lab Steph’s main extracurricular pleasures include Latin dance, a cheeky summer snorkel and dreaming of when she can ski again.
