Dr Andrea Paparini
Andrea is a molecular microbiologist working as Environmental Consultant at Econumerics, and associate Senior Research Scientist at Murdoch University. Andrea is a co-founder of the West Coast Microbiome Network and has over twenty years of teaching, research and consultancy experience, gained in Australia, Italy, and USA. He graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and then completed a PhD in Biotechnology at the University of Siena, Italy. After winning a postdoctoral fellowship for working at the prestigious Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, CA, USA, Andrea moved to Perth, first at The University of Western Australia (Centre for Water Research) and then Murdoch University (School of Veterinary and Life Sciences.
