A/Prof Timothy Cavagnaro
Tim Cavagnaro is an Associate Professor of Soil Ecology. He is based in the School of Agriculture, Food and Wine on the Waite Campus of The University of Adelaide. He currently holds an ARC Future Fellowship focused on the soil ecology of agricultural landscapes. His research focuses on the role of soil microbial communities in the cycling of nutrients and their delivery to plants, with a particular emphasis on how management and environmental change impact these life-sustaining processes. Prior to returning to the University of Adelaide he held an academic position at Monash University, and undertook postdoctoral research at the University of California Davis, and the University of Adelaide.
